On the inside it are enough plastic sheets to hold 40 letter or A4 size pages, held in place by inch-wide flaps of plastic around the edges, leaving most of the paper uncovered. You can play under bright light without being blinded by glare, and you can write on your music during rehearsal without having to take it out of the sleeve.
