This is a book that lives up to its name: a collection of 27 popular songs, folk tunes, and themes from light classical pieces, arranged as simply as possible for the beginning accordionist: single notes in the right hand, only major chords in the left hand.

Songs have been transposed to keys with very few flats or sharps, and shortened to fit on one or two pages. You can be ready to tackle some of these songs after just a couple lessons.

Everything in this book can be played on a small 12-bass accordion just as easily as on a full size instrument.
